Album Info:

This is a most delightful little cove almost at the tip of Geographe Bay on our Indian Ocean coast. I took about 50 shots here and several of these will appear in different albums over the coming months. To really get the feel of the water try viewing this at full size!

  • Wonderful colours, we had one and a half fine days last weekend , I think Sydney has forgotten what the sun looks like almost , this is the year summer forgot the east coast. We went to the harbour and Manly last weekend and it was so good to see the sun a lot better than the grey skies. I can't beleive how hot it still is over on the west coast and poor SA no releif to the heat at all a very weird summer.

  • Excellent seascape master that you are, you have given me the pleasure of feeling the wind on my face, the smell of the salt air, and the sound of the roaring of those waves!

  • I like Donald's description and will go along with that. Sorry, my dear friend, but I'm too sick to think of anything clever. The emergency room, told me to call 3 doctors Monday, and get a lot of things done. Love and many hugs to you and Betty. Love you much. Sharon

  • I will never, ever tire of your ocean shots Peter. This is so beautiful! And again, the Indian Ocean seems so exotic to me, so far away. I just love it!

  • Yep, the full sized view really shows this shot off...you can see the different colors of the water and the sprays of the water off of the rocks.

  • thanks Peter, I uploaded late and in a hurry.. the comment was too big for the space.. I have amended it now. It really is an awesome sight. 3 very different images on each buidling that rotate every 5 minutes.. very impressive stuff and to music on the opening night. They did the same thing in Sydney not long ago. It is certainly drawing huge crowds of young and old alike. It takes a few hours to walk along North Tce and see each one in turn. The festival is a popular 2 weeks straight after Clipsal 500. it is hard to get the buidlings in one shot, and some were climbing trees others lying down.. a sea of cameras everywhere.

  • I do love the Ocean, we don't have a lot of rocks on the central Atlantic coast, but Maine has a nice rocky coast. I would love to be sitting on the big rock in the right corner!!
