    • Excellent composition on this. Love how the grass complements the sky and how the bridge draws the eye upwards. Great that you kept the "spike" off center and included some of the dark brush at the bottom. Very well balanced.

    • THE HARBOUR PILOTS BRING THE SHIPS IN AND OUT OF THE HARBOR THAT LEADS TO THE LEFT, WEST. THE BIG SHIP BUILDING HAD GONE ON THERE, AT THOSE BUILDINGS ON THE LEFT IN VIEW. WHEN THE BRIDGE WAS OUT OF COMMISSION DUE TO THE SHIP CRASHING INTO IT WHEN IT WAS FULL OF CARS, TRAFFIC HAD TO BE RE ROUTED TO I 95 WHICH USED TO BE HWY 303 I BELIEVE. AS A KID I WOULD GO UP TO THE HWY AND WATCH TONS OF SNOW BIRDS HEADING DOWN TO FLA AND LEAVING FLA. THE ONLY GAS STATION ON BLYTHE ISLAND MADE A FORTUNE FOR A FEW YEARS WITH THAT BEING THE ONLY THOROUGHFARE FROM FLA. TO I 95 INTERSTATE!NOW I 95 RUNS OVER BLYTHE ISLAND. NOT THIS SIDNEY LANIER BRIDGE BUT A DIFFERENT BRIDGE TO THE WEST OF THIS PHOTO OVER BY THE PULP MILL AND HERCULES.
