'Castles are provided with surrounding moats to guard against invasion. There are water, dry and swampy moats. Ninjas must surmount these obstacles. It is not so difficult to cross a dry or water moat, if in the darkness. A swampy moat that permits neither walking nor swimming is troublesome. The ninja therefore used the mizugumo. You can try the mizugumo on the swampy path. But you need be prepared as the ninja were!'
