Album Info:
(DSC03351) In front of Quezon Hall: Cement statue of a teacher & her pupils ..... Founded on April 6, 1908 by the American Thomasites, the pioneering teachers who established the country's public school system, the 23-hectare Teachers Camp has served, for more than 100 years, as the premiere training and recreation center for teachers and students. The Camp began as a series of tents when the Thomasite missionaries first colonized the area in 1908. Some 150 public school teachers first pitched tent on that date; beginning a tradition of teacher training in Baguio that continues to this day.
