    • Quite a small aperture but with the focus on the rebuilt fortress and foreground versus the softer focus on the mountainous backdrop,it really keeps the viewer's eye on the subject, best of luck with all your entries Dave, Regards, Rod.

    • Great capture of this well rebuild fort, but I think the wild daisy will more likely win the challenge. :-) Also thanks for your comment on one of my oleander pictures some time ago. I knew the Oleander is highly toxic, with more Alkaloids than any other plant, but I didn't know that there are communities using it as a suicide method. Have a great day! Galit

    • Gorgeous, gorgeous example of dof ... again ... what a magnificent part of our world you live in!!!! And in this particular image, may I say what a stroke of genius and timing (and after all, it's ALL about timing) is the sunlight on the ... oh shoot ... don't know what the teethie things along the walls and towers are called ... crenelations??? Yeah, that's it ... the light along the crenelations really pops!!! Fabulous image!!!! I love all three of your entries, David!!! Best of luck!!!!

    • This is a wonderful gateway photograph for the album. It is like stepping back in time hundreds of years. I really wish I had been able to visit this location as my ship was moored at Ras Al Khaymah, just a short trip away. Clark
