Gas heat and soup inside, windy snowstorm outside

Album Info:
There are many school-lunch counter style places to eat in Japan. Often you'll buy a slip for what you want to eat out of a vending machine, then give it to a person at the counter. You pick it up when it's ready, then sort all of your dishes and trash into bins of like items when you're through. This place wasn't exactly like that, because there was no vending machine, and we just handed our trays to a nice lady through a window. It was heated by big gas heaters in the middle of the room. Mari's apartment was heated that way, my house is heated that way... it's just big. Also, most walls don't have much insulation.
