Maunawili Falls Trail
clarkth (Premium member) > albums > Makana Aloha
Album Info:
Heavy rainshowers should be anticipated at any time of the year. During the rainy season, October through March, the trail can become very muddy and slippery. On sunny days it is quite hot and humid from mid morning until late afternoon; especially if the trade winds are not blowing. Be sure to hydrate!

Love the album and congratulations on the POD. Some people are fortunate to be residing this side of heaven. Just point and shoot and you have great subject material. Must say you do have an eye. This captures is great and I especially LOV the blue highlights. As a city slicker do I dare ask about what kind of creepy crawlers you encounter on these beautiful walks. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like moss is growing on the rocks. I'm sure it's humid. I can feel it. Great shot! Barbara

I can see that a walking stick would be very helpful.

The blue glint again. One must really have to watch their step when walking on this trail.

I love the roots weaving thru the trail. Rugged... ensuring foot-traffic only. Marvelous moss. The light is perfect.

I thought it would be a difficult trail to get there. I like this photo with all the roots and stones...
