Brahminy Kite (Haliastus indus intermedius); local name "lawin"; distributed throughout the Philippines & is easily the most common hawk in the country. These birds prefer to stay near towns & settled areas, near the sea or the banks & mouth of fivers, usually perched on high tree stumps. They feed on fish, small mammals & reptiles, crustaceans, frogs and insects. (Taken from park's signage)
