Album Info:

We happened to be in Barcelona on the eve of the Feast of the Three Kings ('Tres Reyes', the 6th of January). For many (more traditional) Catalans, Three Kings is more important than Christmas, and they do most of their gift-giving and feasting then. There was a huge parade through the Plaza Catalunya (Barcelona's main square), and the famous shopping districts, like las Ramblas (pictured), were even more crowded than usual. There are Tim and Bill with their coronas, getting into the spirit. Las Ramblas is a wild street ("the most exciting in the world", so say the postcards). As our hostel was located in a square just adjacent to it, I spent a lot of time around it. It bustles all day and truly all night.
