Shot several images of Lincoln Nat'l Forest en route to Cloudcroft, NM. Interesting rock layers with sparse vegetation as you can see. Rougly 180 degrees from this is a vista view of White Sands Nat'l Monument, previous album shot. A couple weeks ago I made several images of the Ghost Ranch area and Echo Ampitheater en route to Chama, NM. Still need to edit and post those pics. Regards, Jim

I'm a fossil-hunter in my spare time and am curious about these sedimentary formations. I know that NM has many productive fossil beds (like Ghost Ranch) and have a few samples from the state, acquired the easy way (off ebay). But I'd love to explore in person.
