Album Info:
Here are many burrial caves dating back to the the 1st Temple period. Invisible, facing this hill is the City of David, with many important archeological foundings from that era. In the valley below is the famous Hezekiah's Tunnel, named after the king of Judea (8th century BCE) who ordered its excavation in order to bring water to Jerusalem during the Assyrian siege. Indeed, Judea survived, whereas the northern Israelites were defeated, exiled, and lost. These are the 10 lost tribes.
