Réthymnon fortress and habour befind. We were not at all supposed to come here. This is the north coast, our original plan was to come to the south coast. But somehow we got lost on the mountain area in the middle of the island and I was quite scared for a quite. Luodings GPS machine does not contain the detail map of Crete, and besides, this kind of electric toys never trustable, when you need them it would be out of battery. GPS like me is much more reliable however this time GPS lost her orientation. The mountain area was abondan and isolated, no one understood english and the local people could not even point out on the map where they were. So finally we asked the electric GPS, who pointed that the place we planed to go was 27 min drive away. When we followed that way, we did come to the main road, however, to a completely opposite direction instead.
