I am walking on North Lauderdale away from the highway. As I leave the Lauderdale Courts..err Uptown Square property the neighborhood becomes less scenic. There are so many bail bond companies here because the Memphis and Shelby County jail is nearby. Not to worry, just walk to the corner of Lauderdale and Poplar. By the way, the more distant building on the right was once used by the Blackwood Brothers as office space and record shop.
