Album Info:
This orchid came right out of the little shop of horrors. It refuses to die in spite of my consistent neglect. Evidently, this genus thrives in the hot Ewa Beach sun very well without much water. About twice a year these wonderful flowers blossom on it. The rest of the year it is rather plain and unremarkable.

Sometimes it is worth it to get up in the middle of the night to find orchids. It is really a beautiful capture Clark. I love how it is silhoutted against the blue, blue sky and is that a little row boat in the left hand corner? Or could it be Seymour's finger? Great shot.
