On our two Alaska trips, we were lucky, got to see Mt McKinley without the clouds. We were fortunate to see more of Alaska because of being on shall ship cruises. The big ships miss SO MUCH. Thanks for sharing!

Then we at webshots are truely privelged also. This is a composition we would not normally see portraying Alaska. We (I) tend to imagine these trees, the montains and the glaciers and lots of ice and blue. This gives a new perspective. Lovely to see a blue sky enhance the magestic mountains. The dahlias are an added bonus, fabulous shot.

I've changed my mind - This HAS to be POTD. Even without the foreground interest of the flowers this would have been good but the colours have added that extra dimension that sorts out the men from the boys as it were. This would win any photo competition hands down and were you to give it to an agency I would suggest you would sell a bundle!!
