THIS BRIDGE REPLACED THE OLD ONE THAT A SHIP HIT WHEN I WAS LIVING THERE IN THE 70'S. IT IS HWY 17 BETWEEN DOVER BLUFF AND INTO BRUNSWICK I RECALL. TO THE EAST IS JEKYLL AND TO THE NORTH EAST IS ST. SIMONS AND SEA ISLAND. WHEN I LIVED THERE, YOU HAD TO BUILD AT LEAST A MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE TO BE ABLE TO EVEN BUILD ON SEA ISLAND. WWW.MYLIBERTYHARBOUR.COM IS RECENT WEB LINK A FRIEND SENT ME ON THE AREA NOW IN 2007.

Very interesting, does this go over the swamp, or a river?

Similar design as the Sunshine Skyway!
