Philippine Rufous Hornbill (Anthracoceros marchei); local name "kalaw"; near-threatened species close to qualifying for vulnerable; endemic to the Philippines & occurs in the island of Luzon, Samar & Marinduque. The hornbill resides in primary, mature secondary & disturbed forests. It feeds mainly on seeds & fruits, worms & insects. (Taken from park's signage)
