This is where Elvis ate. In front is one of the ten historic markers placed by the city of Tupelo. Johnny's opened in 1945 and in some ways hasn't changed. that's part of its appeal. Johnny's boasts friendly service and great diner food. Try the cheeseburgers. Note the old fashioned hours of business.

This place has sold so many times, it isn't funny. It is not near the original, not inside or the menu, even in Elvis's days in Tupelo.
