I learned from a Security Guard that you need a permit to use a tripod at the Capitol Building. Fortunately, I had already taken this photo down by the reflecting pool.

Wow, informative and beautiful. I guess they might think a tripod could contain some weapon or something, like a cane sword. I suppose a barrel of some type could be disguised as a tripod leg. The modern world is full of surprises. Oh, the one photo you commented on in the technical experimentation album was the only pure HDR photo in there. It was comprised of 10 different photos taken at different exposures. It is a lot of work. That is one of the reasons I was doing some experimenting with different techniques to see if I could produce the same type of results without as much work. ;)
