This primarily agricultural province is the rice and corn granary of Luzon due to its plain and rolling terrain. Ilocanos are the most prominent group in Isabela. The remaining 7.22 percent are either Gaddang, Paranan, Yogad, or are from other ethnic groups. Major languages in Isabela are Ilocano followed by Ibanag, Yogad, Gaddang.
