Album Info:

Magdapio Falls, more popularly known as Pagsanjan Falls, is the main source of the Bumbungan River that joins another river (Balanac). The confluence of both rivers passes through Pagsanjan town. This 120 m (393 ft) high waterfall is located in the territorial jurisdiction of Cavinti municipality and not Pagsanjan as most people would think.

    • Hi Maryann...first of thanks for accepting me as a friend at webshots. I am just one admirer of your photos and sharing it with the rest of the world. You bet, i am missing our beloved Philippines. And if i can just visit a few of these places you've been to it's good enough and worthwhile. Rest assure i will go to Pagsanjan Falls someday soon. This album of yours reminds me to again juxtapose some of B. Fabianic's photos and your beautiful & expert shots. You can easily compare how it was then(dec.'61) to your present 08,'08. Thanks again. Warmest regards. joe

    • This is a beautiful shot, worthy to keep as a stock photo, of this magnificent place. Bumbunan means apex of the head and I wonder if the river was named after that. The foreground rocks gave depth to this shot. I can almost hear the rush of water from that drop of 400 feet. What a visual and audio experience you have here! Thanks for sharing, Mary Ann.
