Album Info:

Fort Santiago was used by the Japanese forces during World War II as an army garrison and interrogation prison. My two uncles - both guerilla fighters -were brought here when they were captured. Nothing was heard of them after they were taken to this place. It seems we had a much brutal version of Guantanamo Bay.

    • Don't think anyone wanted to know the brutality of the War, not after and not during, more than enough of the War was beyond the scope of anything known to man. An interesting picture, history too. I wish you luck in finding out more about this place, for both your uncles' sake, your family too. My best regards. ron
