(DSC00709) A testimonial from a visitor from Cedar Falls who visited the restaurant in October 2011: "This was my personal favorite of the three restaurants in Puerto Princesa that EVERYONE recommends. We visited all three. Although a more formal dining experience, the prices are very reasonable (as are all prices in the area!). They focus on seafood and vegetables, with a changing menu built around the 'catch of the day.' You MUST have a reservation (nearly any hotel staff member or even tricycle driver can help you with that). They only have two seating times each day and are closed on Sundays. Although the menu is limited, it would keep changing and everything was delicious. You get a set meal of somesort and select your drink(s). Best if you are going with at least one other person. The real highlight for me was the ambiance. It is full of interesting pieces of art work. You remove your shoes at the entrance, and wander through their rooms of colorful carvings and paintings. At the back is a small shop with original artwork for sale. (Taken from http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Re view-g294255-d1607178-Reviews-Kalui_Rest aurant-Palawan.html)
