The lone surfer is riding a wave at what is known as "Shark's Country". I fully understand how the break got that particular name. There are a lot of honu in these waters which can potentially attract "the boys in the gray suits" to an easy food source. Soul surfing here can be a real adventure...

My Gosh, if there are sharks in these waters, why are people surfing if not to tempt fate? The sight is very beautiful none the less.
