This is one small section, but a strong reminder of our visit to Masada in 1996. Our church is now planning a return trip in 2010; how I wish we could return!

Didn't notice the birds until Carol mentioned them, but what intrigues me more is the way those branches (with just a hint of green) are bending gently backward as if to greet those wispy clouds!
