I always say there are three places I have found where it almost impossible to take a bad photo: Big Sur, Yosemite, and Crater Lake ... however I have yet to see a more wonderful capture of Crater Lake than this. Well deserved spotlight.

Congrats on POTD! I LOVE Crater Lake! I've only been once and it was way back in '77, but man oh man was it a really BEAUTIFUL place! There was still snow along the trail(s) when we went, in eitehr late June or early July.

CONGRATULATIONS ON POTD. I do not live far from Crater Lake and that place changes everyday. Everytime I go up there it amazes me with its beauty and wildlife. Wizard Island is my favorite place up there. Thank you for sharing Crater Lake with rest of the world.
