Album Info:

This beautiful light, sitting on the banks of a small river (the Thames) at its entrance to the quasi-Great Lake, Lake St. Clair is the second oldest in Ontario. The lower portion of the light (below the ring) is the original 1818 stone structure. The light was riased to its current height of 52' in 1870. The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority has taken meticulous care of this light and it shows!
